The End of an Era
So this is gonna be my first post in like a LONG time. Well what better way to start over again, than to write about my favorite sport... Formula One. The 2005 Formula One World Championship is over, Fernando Alonso is champion along with Renault, but for me the most Biggest thing to end this year aside from a great season...is the end of the V10 Era. Yea its just an engine, but if any of you like F1 and have gotten to hear one of these mechanical monsters in person...you can personally agree that they will be missed. Sort of like when ferrari last used their Ferrari V12 F1 engines..... this for me is the same with the V10's. Next year the F.I.A (Dam bastards) have changed the regulations to slow the cars down back to V8's....F1 has had V8's in the past, but the V10's were it since i think, 1995. The V10 era will be missed. They produced a note that would rattle your ears...and move your soul. I never got to hear these machines in person...nor will I ever, which hurts because my love for the sport is great...especially for the engines. But i guess all good things come to and end....but who knows how F1 will be now that they are gonna have V8's....who knows. Now its only 3 to 4 months until the 2006 Formula One World Championship gets underway,....and i hope its like this year. With the exception of course as to what happend at the U.S Gran Prix in indy this year. Well thats it..just wanted to get that out. :)
