A Road Less Traveled

It's been quite some time since I last wrote, I've been quite buisy transfering from job positions and so forth. But suprisingly everything has been going, a tad bit better. Mostly because of my job.....infact, thats pretty much it!! I no longer work grave yard (worked it since june), but now I work the swing shift, 2 - 10pm. Its ok for me, i still work from Wendsdays through Sunday's, but i still have the option of going out after work, it is only 10pm...thats early!!! :) anywho, everything else is pretty much the same in my life, although I had this deep talk with my best friend, making me feel closer to her than ever before, not in a girlfriend kind of way because of some bad things in me, although if I didnt have that I would doubt that she would ever grow to love me in that way. But she has been there for me for some heavy shit, and I thank her for that. And with my crush, well....everything is still a pile of big regergitated crap!!! I still have feelings for her, and even though I shouldnt, I cannot get them out!! I've tried writing poems about it, i've cried my self to sleep sometimes, and well..it helps, but to some extent only. But besides that, everything is ok, not good...but ok. This past few days have been fun for me though. It rained here in Los Angeles, and for me that AWESOME!!, now before I say what i want to say I'm gonna explain a few things, first off I do this like at 12 or 1 am. I make sure there is no one near me or around me. And I sure as hell make sure I lookout for cops. "What the fuck is he talking about" you might ask. Well alot of people have different ways of getting rid of stress, it varies from Watching tv...ALL the way to having sex, drawing, and even sleeping. But for me, the only way I can get rid of stress is,...by pumping up my heart rate, and getting FULL of adrenaline. And I do this by driving in the rain.....FAST!!. This may be dangerous, but not so dangerous if u know your cars (and/or) truck's thresh-hold. Meaning, you know what your vehicle and and cannot do. I know everything my truck can do because I have tried it at parking lots and what not to see what I can play with. And well when it rains its just fun to slide all over the place, from doing drifts around corners, to redlining (to a max of 70mph) to doing long extended sideways burnouts...although its not technically a burnout because your tires are spinning because it is wet. And then there's the redlining on the freeway. The trucks max speed is 120mph...but with limiters and all that, its 95mph (A truck is not safe at 120mph). But thats when it's dry, of course when it's wet Im not going to even try to reach 90mph! thats WAY beyond the trucks capabilities in the rain. But an average speed of about 80 - 87mph is ok. What also depends is the freeway, NEVER ever try to redline on the following freeways: 710FWY, 405FWY, 101FWY, 60FWY, 10FWY (Between the 110 and the Santa Ana, too bumpy). But the 105 and the stretch of highway that takes u all the way to West Covina (San bernardino FWY East) its ok. All the other freeways have too many puddles and at 50mph You hidroplaine so its not good, not good at all at around 87mph. But for me all these things get my heart going, and its at that point, that all my problems, all my worries and stuff go away and all I'm left with is consentrating on what Im doing. I dont even listen to the radio....although I did try this with some mozart and THAT was amazing!!! Well I've written to much so I think I'll end here. Dont do what I do if You dont know what I know, I'm not the PERFECT driver, but i sure as hell know how to drive better than MOST if not ALL the drivers here in Los Angeles, and I really mean that cuz DAYUM!!! well I guess till next time.
